The Lady Lobos opened the season last Tuesday with a long road trip to Chandler to take on the Valley Christian Trojans. Valley Christian is traditionally a solid program especially on their home floor but Coach Joseph Clares unit had little problems coming home with a 55-34 road win.
This week they will see more action. After hosting Chinle on Tuesday, the Lobos will compete in the Pepsi Tournament held in Flagstaff. On Thursday they are slated to face Arizona Lutheran and the host team Flagstaff Lady Eagles.
Next Thursday, Snowflake will travel to Tuba City, then on Friday, they host Northwest Christian.
