Snowflake volleyball enters the penultimate week of the regular season ranked number one overall in 3A with an impressive mark of 13-0. Two of those wins came last week with a 3-0 road win at Winslow on Tuesday followed by a 3-1 road win at Blue Ridge on Thursday.
In the Winslow match, the Bulldogs never had a chance. Snowflake won the first game 25-19, took the second 25-20, and closed out the match winning game three 25-18.
Snowflake really hasn’t been tested in the regular season having dropped just three individual games while winning 39 total games. One of those dropped games came at Blue Ridge on Thursday in what was a highly competitive match between two good teams.
Snowflake won the first game in a thrilling 30-28 final score. They also outlasted the Yellowjackets in the second game winning it 25-23. Blue Ridge took game three 25-19, then Snowflake took control of the match winning game four 25-17, to keep their perfect regular season mark intact.
After hosting Payson on Tuesday, Snowflake will travel to Holbrook on Thursday. On Saturday they host Monument Valley. Next week they close out the regular season at home hosting Show Low on Tuesday and Winslow on Thursday.
