The Lady Lobos improved their 14th overall ranking last week with three big wins, two of them over region foes. Playing in Holbrook on Tuesday night they defeated the Lady Roadrunners 45-31. Holbrook, down a few players, was able to keep the game close early, but through the second half the Lobos gradually pulled away for the key region win.
Livi Schneider led Snowflake in scoring with 14 points. Austin Stratton added 13, and Natalie Carlisle helped with 10.
Snowflake survived their region match up with Show Low on Thursday outlasting the Cougars in the final moments to secure a 41-36 win.
Hosting Monument Valley on Saturday the Lobos dominated the Mustangs early and held them to just 24 total points in a 52-24 home court win.
With the three wins, Snowflake advanced their overall record to 12-8. They are 6-4 in regular season contests.
The Lobos have a packed schedule in the final two weeks of the regular season. After playing in Winslow on Monday they will host Payson on Friday then welcome in Page on Saturday. Next week they play in Blue Ridge on Tuesday then host Winslow on Wednesday and Holbrook on Friday.
