The Lady Wildcats have outscored their opponents 105-30 in their past five games, all of which counted toward their power point record, which stood at 9-3 heading into Thursday’s road game with Round Valley at Eagar. That mark placed the Joseph City squad 18th in the Division IV rankings with just five games left on the regular season schedule.
Facing the Lady Pirates in Sanders on Thursday of last week the Cats cruised to a 36-6 win. Two days later they traveled to Fredonia, where they swept both games of a doubleheader contest, taking the first game 18-9, then winning the second 12-2.
On Monday Rough Rock made a visit to Joseph City and left town with losses in both games of another doubleheader contest. The Wildcats claimed game one 17-1, then notched their 10th overall win of the season in game two, 22-12.
The Cats will host Northland Prep today (April 17), then play a double header game at Rock Point on Wednesday, April 22. They close out the regular season on Monday, April 27, with a home tilt against St. Johns.
