In the third quarter the Lady Bulldogs started playing a more aggressive defense and would outshoot the Lady Knights 17-8 and take the lead 46-38. The fourth quarter would find both teams battling and in the closing minutes of the game Winslow with a slight lead would play keep away to run out the clock and Gilbert fouling, with Winslow going to the line twice to increase the lead by four points and win the game 61-52. Winslow’s Kristen Wagner was the high scorer with 17 points followed by Kylie Bega, with 16 points; Oniah Barton-Paddock, 15; and Sierra Singer with 10 points. Gilbert’s Cameryn Jones was the only Knight in double digits with 14 points.
