After winning two of their first three games to open the season, the Lady Roadrunners have fallen on tough times. Holbrook is in the midst of a four-game skid following Monday afternoon’s tough 5-4 loss to visiting Round Valley.

Three of those losses have been critical power point contests dating back to the Winslow game on Tuesday of last week. Holbrook dropped a game to Snowflake on Friday and now sits at 2-5 on the season and, more importantly, is just 1-3 in power point contests.

With the majority of the season left on the books there is still time for the Roadrunners to right the ship. They will have a good opportunity to do just that when they host Chinle on Tuesday, March 24, then will have six days off during spring break to prepare for another favorable match up at Mogollon on Monday, March 30. They quickly follow up that game with a home matchup with Payson the next day.
