Judith “Judi” Ann Standiford, 78, joined her husband Robert Carl Standiford in heaven the morning of Aug. 12, 2025.
Judi is survived by her sister, Wilma Smith; children, Ryan Standiford and Kristyn Hill; grandchildren, Mariah Hill, Chandler Hill and Alexander Hill; and great-grandchildren, LaKyrah Davis and LaMyah Davis.
Robert and Judi got married Aug. 18, 1967, in the living room of her parents’ house. They were married for 57 years. After the wedding Robert was drafted to go to Vietnam. During this
time, they had R&R in Hawaii where they got to spend their honeymoon. Another unforgettable trip was an Alaskan cruise with Robert’s family. They both talked about how it is the most beautiful place on Earth.
Judi worked at the Navajo County Public Defender’s office for 20-plus
years. Then she retired to become a full-time grandma. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren tremendously. Some of her favorite things in life included bowling, kitties, fast cars, family, puzzles and the Phoenix Suns.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m., service at 10 a.m., and refreshments at 12 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 29, at the LDS church in Joseph City. The burial will be at 11 a.m. at the Joseph City Cemetery.
