Jared Wayne McKinlay, 36, of Snowflake, was taken much too soon on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, in a rollover accident. Jared was born March 29, 1989, to Mark and Sandee McKinlay.
Following is a piece of a text sent to his family by a friend and co-worker: “That man was a beautiful man, had a beautiful soul, not one hate-bone in his body, he would help anybody out,” which perfectly describes him. He was a big, strong man with a big, huge heart and genuine concern for those around him.
He is survived by parents, Mark and Sandee McKinlay; sister, Taylor Schofield (Drake); brothers, Ammon McKinlay (Chelsey), Wyatt McKinlay (Amy) and Mayson McKinlay (Katie); nephews, Walker Schofield, Daxton McKinlay, Hughstin McKinlay and Hayze McKinlay; niece, Kooper Schofield; grandparents, Dave and Lee McKinlay; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., on Thursday, Aug. 28, at Owen’s Livingston Mortuary, located at 84 W. 19th St., in Snowflake. A burial service will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., on Friday Aug. 29, at San Tan Memorial Gardens, located at 22425 E. Cloud Road in Queen Creek.
