One collision was investigated by Holbrook police officers during the period of Feb. 15-21, according to dispatcher reports. At approximately 6:04 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, a two-vehicle collision with injuries was reported on Navajo Blvd. at the Exit 286 onramp. The vehicles involved were a black Jeep Wrangler driven by Brady Hartnett, 18, of Winslow and a white Ford truck driven by Lynn Oldham, 64, of Taylor. According to the report, Oldham was traveling south on Navajo Blvd. and turned left to enter onto the I-40 onramp, striking the Jeep that was traveling north on Navajo Blvd. Oldham claimed that he did not see the Jeep because the vehicle’s headlights were not turned on, a statement confirmed by a witness. Hartnett reported neck pain and EMS came to the scene and cleared Hartnett. Both vehicles were damaged and the Jeep was towed from the scene. It was not indicated if a citation was issued.
