One collision was investigated by Holbrook police officers during the period of Sept. 23-29, according to dispatcher reports.
At 3:34 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, a two-vehicle, non-injury collision occurred on Navajo Blvd. at California Street. The vehicles involved were a gray 2023 Nissan Rogue driven by Sydnee Locke, 25, of Holbrook and a white 2012 Buick Regal driven by Wallace Dechilly, 73, of Shiprock, N.M. According to the report, both Locke and Dechilly were traveling north on Navajo Blvd. when Locke, who was traveling faster than Dechilly, crossed over the line and struck Dechilly. Locke was cited for failure to maintain lane of travel.
