The holiday season is an important time not only to spend with family, but also to serve those less fortunate. The TravelCenters of America truck stop, located off of the Perkins Valley exit at the west end of Holbrook, is providing one way to help. The business is offering a wide array of toys for kids that can be purchased or other new toys can be dropped off at the truck stop. “We have a lot of truckers that take part, but we would love to have some of the community members take part as well. It’s a quick and easy way to help,” stated manager Troy Klein. The opportunity to participate in the toy drive will end Tuesday, Dec. 15, when the toys will be taken to Catholic Charities in Holbrook.
