The Holbrook City Council approved Ordinance 15-06, authorizing City Manager Ray Alley to receive the deeds on behalf of the city to 35 lots in the Julia Addition gifted to the city by Shannon Newman.
In other action Sept. 8, the council:
* Approved payment of claims totaling $269,979.64.
* Approved payment of claims to Walt’s Hardware in the amount of $1,344.95.
* Approved minutes of the regular meetings held Aug. 11, 2014, and Aug. 12, 2015.
* Approved Ordinance 15-03, establishing West Public Works Drive.
The next regular council meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
