The Holbrook Pregnancy Center helps families with children under 4-years-old with free diapers, pull ups, wipes and donated child clothing. The center asks for a cash donation for bigger items such as cribs, high chairs, strollers etc. Every week families get mommy bucks and use that to shop for anything they need. Donations for children clothing in good condition and baby essentials. The center also gives out food through Wings of Faith.
Volunteer Gina Cornwelln said, “Healthy Families Arizona is a program available to pregnant moms or those who have babies three months and younger. We provide support through an evidence-based curriculum and teach parents the skills needed to have a secure bond with their child. Once enrolled, a child can stay in the program until they are 5 years old. Visits are scheduled to educate, advocate and provide resources to families in need. Through the Holbrook Pregnancy Center, we volunteer our services in coordinating formula and book drives. A monthly mom’s group and Facebook support group is also available to all moms in Holbrook!”
The Holbrook Pregnancy Center is open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and is located at 214 E Hopi Drive in Holbrook. The center is not based on income so anyone can sign up who lives within 25 miles of Holbrook.
The center is run by volunteers and is always looking for anyone who would like to help.
