The City of Holbrook celebrated the holiday season with the annual Parade of Lights held last Saturday. The theme for the year was Christmas Around the World. With so many great floats the judges had their work cut out for them. Holbrook Family Dental won Best Overall with its Nutrcrackers Around the World float, Winslow Health Care Center won the Santa’s Workshop Award for its replica of the center from 1940s, Bucket of Suds Car Wash won the Santa’s Sleigh Award for its North Pole float, Hashknife Posse won the Reindeer Award, Holbrook Summer Dancers won the Jingle Bell Award, Keams Canyon Princess and Brave won the Elf award and the Petrified Forest National Park won in a new category, the Illumination Award for its Christmas Triassic float.
