Holbrook had nine athletes qualify for and compete at the Division III state track meet held over the weekend. Darian Hollins paced the group with the highest finish placed 4th in the long jump with a distance of 17-00. Terrilyn Lester finished 12th in the discus with a throw of 90-00. Shandie Demuth placed 15th in the event throwing 87-05. Johnathan Dawson placed 19th in the 400 meter dash with a time of 53.73. Marcel Young qualified in two events finishing 16th in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 43.24 and 21st in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 17.87.
The quartet of Kyle Chee, Ryan Bia, Marcos Clark and Tristan Zahne placed 16th in the 4 x 800 meter relay with a time of 8:34.
