The Alco store in Holbrook will be closing its doors after the first of the year.
According to Manager Tiffany Fredericks, no definite date has been given, but it is anticipated that the final day will arrive by the end of January. “It really depends on the amount of inventory we have and how quickly we sell it,” she said. The store employs 11 people both full and part-time.
The closure comes after the company filed for bankruptcy in October. The Holbrook store will not be the only one closing its doors, but it’s uncertain at this time how many of the more than 200 stores will be closing.
