The Holbrook wrestlers will open the season on Tuesday, Nov. 24, with a trip to Prescott for their first multiple meet of the season. Teams joining Holbrook there will be Prescott, Liberty and Thunderbird, all of which, according to Coach John Bokker, are highly ranked Division II teams.
Roadrunner wrestlers this year include seniors; Noah Barela, Jedde Bowman, Mac Stump, Levi McClellan, James Ramirez, Nizhonie Begay, Kenia Alvarado and Adriano Sam; juniors Shane McGraw, Robert Romo, Kohl Potts, Zach McLaws, Hershal Skeet and David Laughter; sophomores Dre Hanley, Cody Keyonnie, Sam Sumpter and Marshal Tsosie; and freshmen Ezra Tsosie, Wallace Joe, John Heward and Jack Hardy.
Following the Prescott Multiple the team will travel to Kingman on the Wednesday following Thanksgiving for their second multiple meet of the season. Holbrook will once again host the Pat Kenny Tournament, scheduled Friday and Saturday, Dec. 4 and 5.
