By Greg Perkins Hosting Northland Prep and Mogollon in a three-team, nine-hole golf match last Friday, the Roadrunners finished on top with 163 strokes. Northland Prep finished with 177 team strokes. Mogollon only had two golfers and didn’t record a team score. Holbrook was led by Andon Hatch, who posted a one over par 36. Lane Connor shot a 39, CJ Plumb carded a 42, Sam Plumb shot a 46 and Kaitlyn Benally carded a 58. Holbrook’s junior varsity team was led by Robert Wheeler with a 51. Jimmy Saxton shot 53, Noah Barela had a 55 and Ryan Nolden carded a 66. Hatch has now posted four of the necessary five qualifying rounds needed to make the state tournament.
