Helen Perea Archibeque, 83, passed peacefully at her home in Lawrenceville, Ga. on Monday, March 20, 2023. She was born and raised in Holbrook, on Sept. 20, 1939. She loved to cook for her friends and family, crochet and sew for her great-grandchildren, and watch TV and movies in her spare time. She loved to fish, go to the VFW, and to spend quality time with her family while in Arizona. Helen is preceded in death by her sisters, Rosalie Perea Sample and Patricia Perea Rust and many other siblings. She is survived by her brother, Demetrio Perea; and by her children, Jan Maskew, Tammy Smith and David Archibeque; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will return to Holbrook for her final resting place among her family at a later date. South Care Cremation and Funeral Society handled the arrangements.
