Obit Hall Barbara

Barbara June “Barbie” Hall, 82, passed away peacefully at her home in Snowflake, on Monday, May 4, 2026. She was born on March 6, 1944, in Grand Rapids, Mich.

She loved crocheting, doing puzzles, shopping at the dollar store, watching movies at home, and spending time with family and friends. She especially loved going out for a sweet treat, whether it was a Sonic sundae, or McDonald’s ice cream cone. Some of her happiest moments were the simple ones spent with the people she loved.

Barbara deeply missed her mother, Viola Avilla; her sisters, Candy Marsh and Pam Aspgren; and her brother, Bruce Aspgren, all who passed before her, and we find comfort in knowing they are reunited again.

Her sister, Pam Aspgren, lovingly cared for her for many years, and after her passing, her niece, Heidi Williams, stepped into that role with the same love and devotion.

Barbara is survived by her four children, Dannelle Haney, Marcie Reeder, James (Rhonda) Haney and Jack Haney, all of Michigan; and her siblings, Karl (Judy) Aspgren, Betty Jean (Jerry) Szyszko and Tim (Jackie) Avilla. She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, May 11, at the Pioneer Park Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 421 N. Main St., in Snowflake. A viewing will be held at 10 a.m.

Owens Livingston Mortuary of Snowflake handled the arrangements.
