Harold W. Harkey, 62, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, in Holbrook. In lieu of services, visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, at his home in Holbrook. Bring a smile.
He was born on June 22, 1952, in Canyonville, Ore., the eldest son of Ray and Iris Harkey, now deceased.
To all the fish in Arizona, it is safe to come out of hiding. The kind and gentle man who would have eventually caught you is fishing new waters.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie; two brothers, Ray (Colleen) Harkey and Jeff (Rose) Wilkins; three daughters, Carley (Gary) Logan, Andrea Cramer and Aimee Cramer; a son, Brian; and the grandkids who loved him, Hayden and Reiley Christiansen, Kayla Grandstaff. Andrew and Aubree Takala, Jesse Polzin, Austin Perry and Brooklyn Brooks.
Harold retired after working many years for Arizona Public Service Co. as a control operator and supervisor, and was respected and loved by all.
