On Saturday, June 3, the Arizona Game and Fish Department, along with the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside, will host a free fishing clinic from 8 a.m. to noon at Woodland Lake Park in Pinetop-Lakeside. The lake is scheduled to be stocked with trout just prior to the clinic, so the fishing should be good. June 3 is a Free Fishing day in Arizona and no license will be required to fish at any state lakes on that day. All other fishing laws apply. Arizona Game and Fish will have a limited number of fishing poles and tackle available for public use during the clinic, and Sportsman’s Warehouse will have free bait available for participants. This is a great opportunity to come out to Woodland Lake and learn how to fish. No preregistration is necessary.
