The Arizona Game and Fish Department, along with the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside, will host a free fishing clinic from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 21, at Woodland Lake Park in Pinetop-Lakeside. The lake is scheduled to be stocked with trout just prior to the clinic, so the fishing should be good. Game and Fish will have a limited number of fishing poles and tackle available for public use during the clinic, and Sportsman’s Warehouse will have free bait available for participants. No fishing license is required during event hours for anyone registered for the event. This is a great opportunity to come out to Woodland Lake and learn how to fish. No preregistration is necessary. If you don’t have a valid Arizona fishing license, stop by the Arizona Game and Fish booth to register at the event.
