Teams in the 3A conference still have two or three weeks left in their regular seasons. Holbrook has the tough assignment of traveling to Snowflake on Friday night, where they will meet up with a Lobo team fresh off their 33-34 upset overtime loss to Payson. Snowflake had a big lead in that game, but gave up points to the Longhorns late in the game in the loss, which left them with a 5-2 record and will have dropped them from the fourth overall ranking, which they had prior to the Payson loss.

Holbrook continues to struggle on both sides of the ball and will not provide much in the way of resistance for the Lobos to return to the win column. Holbrook and Snowflake did not play last season, with that being one of the games the Roadrunners failed to field a team. This year the Roadrunners will indeed take a team to Lobo Stadium, however, the outcome will not be kind to Roadrunner fans. Two years ago Snowflake won this match up 55-7. If Holbrook can score at least once, that would be a moral victory for a team trying to rebuild a program. The Lobos rushing duo of Terren Green and Brig Turley are expected to have big nights.
