As part of the St. Patrick’s Day holiday, regional policing agencies are taking part in a state line to state line Route 66 DUI task force effort set from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. today (March 17) to ensure that the roads will be safe to travel on the holiday. Law enforcement agencies taking part in this task force include Holbrook, Winslow, Flagstaff and Williams police departments, the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the Navajo County, Coconino County and Yavapai sheriff’s offices, and the Arizona Department of Liquor. Drink responsibly and do not drink and drive. These agencies want to remind you that you will not have the Luck of the Irish if you do.
