A taco dinner fundraiser is being planned for Yarrow Peters, a 2015 graduate of Joseph City High School who was recently diagnosed with stage III colon cancer complicated by Crohn’s Disease.
The committee is seeking donations of chicken, soft taco tortillas, cheese, tortilla chips, rice, beans and paper goods for this event, which is slated on Oct. 17 at the old elementary school gym in Joseph City.
If you have questions or would like to make a donation, contact Linda Kor-Fisher at (928) 386-5445. You may drop off your donations by Oct. 10 at 5445 Third North in Joseph City or at The Tribune-News office, located at 200 E. Hopi Drive in Holbrook.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will be given to Yarrow to help offset the costs associated with her cancer treatment.
