The Holbrook City Council convened on April 28. During the meeting, the council approved a resolution designating City Manager Ted Soltis the authority to execute the airport grant from Arizona Department of Transportation Arizona Pavement Management Systems. The amount of the grant was $171,561. The council also proclaimed Youth Week beginning the first Sunday of May.
During call to the public resident Elizabeth McPherson addressed the council and thanked the city for the measures that they had taken to prevent vehicles from traveling across gravesites at the Holbrook Cemetery and said that she still would like to see the fence moved or removed.
