Reviving a long-held Holbrook tradition, Kyle Gardner, director of choirs at Holbrook High School, invites the singing public to join him in preparation for a Christmas cantata to be held on Saturday, Dec. 19, at the George Gardner Performing Arts Center, with a matinee at 3 p.m. and an evening performance at 7 o’clock. There will be no charge for these performances, to which the public is cordially invited.

The name of the cantata is What Child Is This?, and it consists of seven musically and lyrically rich songs which tell of the birth and purpose of the Savior.

Rehearsals are being held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. every Sunday and Tuesday in the Choir Room at HHS. It is not necessary that singers attend every rehearsal. Youth and adult singers are welcome and needed.
