Among the animals ready for adoption at the Holbrook Animal Shelter is (top row, from left) Ana, a female Border Collie/Heeler mix. This gorgeous girl is about a year old and full of energy. She needs a home with lots of space to run. She’s got such pretty coloring and is very friendly. She’s already fixed, so her adoption fee is only $50. Asha is a female red heeler mix. She needs an active family, preferably with children, as she loves to play with them. She’s good with most other dogs unless they act aggressive toward her. Her name means happy, and that’s exactly what she is. She is loving, well mannered and housebroken, too. She just adores men. She is currently in a home situation, so if you’d like to meet Asha, please contact the shelter to do so. Dogee is about 5 years old. He is a miniature Lab mix, so he is teeny, about half the size of a regular Lab, but with the same demeanor and sweet spirit that a Lab has. He knows commands and is great on a leash. Maggie is a female pit mix pup approximately 5 months old. She is as sweet as can be, very loving and friendly. There are beautiful markings on this little lady. Ozzie is a young male pit mix with adorable floppy ears and gorgeous blue eyes. This sweet little guy is super friendly. Stimpy is a cuddly little guy. He and his brother were found abandoned together. His brother has been adopted and now he needs a home. He’s very lonely now. Are you looking for a little lapdog? This may be your new buddy! Wolfie is a female shepherd mix and is about a year old. She recently gave birth, but somehow lost her pups before coming to the shelter. She is a great medium sized dog, and is as sweet as can be. She gets along with other dogs. These cuddly little puppies have had their first Parvo shots and just want to go home with you. They are Lab/pit mixes and are about 7 weeks old. Angel is a sweet little girl with a sassy little attitude. Doc is the only boy in the batch and the smallest of the litter, too. He is so darling with his white paws and chest. Donna is a sweet little girl with the cutest freckled face. She has beautiful markings all over. Rose is also a sweet little girl. She has pretty Rottie like markings and golden brown feet. Shrek is a male gray orange cat. Much like the character he is named for, Shrek has a heart of gold. He’s a giant moose of a cat, worthy to scare away mice and small children. He’s super friendly; all he wants is to be loved on and will purr at you as soon as you do. Don’t let his rough looks put you off. This kitty would be your best pal. Smoke is a 9-week-old male tabby. He had an upper respiratory infection when he was brought in, as did his sister Stormy. This is an issue they will deal with for the rest of their lives. Please consider this before adopting these cuties. All are available for adoption. The fee is $75 for female dogs and $70 for males, which includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccination and a city license.
