On Oct. 7, the Winslow Bulldogs traveled up to Page to face the Sand Devils. In the first quarter following a muffed punt, the Sand Devils quarterback Collin Joe would score on a 49-yard run.
Late in the second quarter Bulldog quarterback Keaton Kislingbury would score on a five-yard keeper followed by the point after kick by Chance Lugo, making the halftime score Winslow 7 and Page 6.
With less than five minutes left in the third quarter, following a Joseph Guerrero interception, Kislingbury would score on a three-yard keeper, bringing Winslow up to 13 points.
Early in the fourth quarter Bulldog defensive lineman Issac David would recover fumble cruise to a 20-yard touchdown along with a Lugo point after. The Sand Devils would make a quarterback change and on Connor Shirley’s first play he would find Kyun Tate for a combination pass run of 72-yard touchdown. On the Sand Devils next drive Shirley’s seven-yard pass to Jimmy Alvarez led to a touchdown but the two-point attempt was broken up by Bulldog Jordin Brinkley interception. With that the final score was Winslow 20 and Page 18.
