On Jan. 31, in between the Winslow Bulldog varsity games, Brynlee Barris was escorted to the center of the court by her family to be acknowledged as the Regional Defense Volleyball Player of the Year, but it was also to surprise the Barris family with the announcement that Becky Barris was being inducted into the Bulldogs Wall of Fame.
Becky Barris was the coach for the Lady Bulldogs Softball team for 12 years from 2000-2012 when she was tragically killed in a car collision. During her time as coach, she had 306 wins, took the team to four consecutive state championship games and won the state title in 2010.
