Barbara Frances (Cahill) Donalson, 57, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, May 29, 2017, in Show Low. Barbara was born on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 1959, in Tucson. She grew up in Winslow until her family moved to Pinetop in the ‘70s. She graduated from Blue Ridge High School in 1977. She was a lifelong resident of Arizona except for the past four years, and was preparing to retire to her most beloved place on earth right here in the White Mountains. She loved her family, grandchildren and her animals. She will be missed by all who knew her gentle spirit, and especially by her sister-in-law, Stacey Donalson. Survivors include her husband, Steven Donalson of Sacramento, Calif.; mother, Beverly and Dean Fisher of Eau Claire, Wis.; sons, Scott and Rose Donalson of Page, and David and Niki Donalson of San Diego, Calif.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her brother, Jim and Anne Cahill of Chandler; her sister, Mary Rose of Alaska; three nephews, Jeremy, Nathan and Brian of Phoenix; and two aunts, Gay Faucher and Mary Wetzel of Winslow.
