I grew up in Indiana playing baseball and flying model airplanes, and I am an Eagle Scout. My passion for fossils and the outdoors has led to my dream job as a paleontologist at Petrified Forest National Park. I’ve worked at the park since 2013, and my wife Colleen and I moved from Texas to Holbrook in 2016. Colleen is the secretary of the Holbrook Chamber of Commerce and I was chosen by the Holbrook City Council in June of 2018 to fill a vacated seat. I enjoy hiking with Colleen and our dog Rosalita, and fly fishing in my spare time.

There are hundreds of towns along Route 66, but there are none like Holbrook. Citizens from Holbrook are rightfully proud to live here and our future depends on us embracing our unique strengths, including our location, partnerships and natural resources. We need to fully utilize the airport, railroad, interstate and state roads that connect us to economic partners to promote business growth.

I will form a group including citizens and partners to implement a management plan for the petroglyphs and wildlife viewing area at Hidden Cove. I am also interested in developing our community fishing program with the Arizona Game and Fish Department.
