By Naomi Hatch Patrick Golden Bennett, 54, of Taylor pleaded not guilty last week to sexual conduct with a minor and violation of an order of protection. He is a former Snowflake Junior High School teacher, and the crimes are alleged to involve a student. Snowflake-Taylor police officers arrested Bennett on Jan. 3. Snowflake Justice of the Peace Fred Peterson set Bennett’s bail at $50,000, and he was booked into the Navajo County Jail. The case was remanded to Navajo County Superior Court, and Bennett was arraigned before Judge Ralph Hatch on Jan. 17. A case management conference and release hearing are set for Thursday, Jan. 31, in Division I of the Superior Court.
