Harry J. Gunther, 85, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Internment was at Snowflake Cemetery. Harry was born in Chicago, Ill., on March 25, 1926. He served in the Navy as a Quartermaster Third Class in World War II aboard the USSATR-72 and the USS Yorktown. Survivors include his wife, Anne; two sons, Douglas and Larry; one daughter, Patricia; a sister, Bea Ryba; a daughter-in-law, Vicki; and eight grandchildren.
