INVITATION FOR BIDS
SALE OF SURPLUS CHIP SPREADER
The Town of Snowflake, Arizona, is accepting sealed bids for the sale of the following surplus equipment:
1999 Bear Cat Chip Spreader
Model: BC-2002/CRC Standard
VIN: 1B9BC1627XA173007
Condition: Used
Additional description: Chip spreader runs well, is in good condition and the Town has used it for 100 hours.
Reserve Price: The Town has established a minimum reserve price of $25,000. The Town reserves the right to reject any bid that does not meet or exceed this amount.
The equipment is sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH ALL FAULTS, without any express or implied warranty. Prospective bidders are encouraged to inspect the equipment before submitting a bid. The equipment may be inspected at the Snowflake Public Works yard on by appointment with Mike Rogers at mrogers@snowflakeaz.gov.
Sealed bids must state the bidder’s name, address, telephone number, bid amount, and the words “Bid—1999 Bear Cat Chip Spreader.” Bids must be received no later than 3:00 P.M. on September 2 at:

Bids received after the deadline will not be considered. Bids will be opened at 3:00 P.M. on September 2 at Snowflake Town Hall.
The successful bidder must pay the full purchase price by cashier’s check or certified funds within ten business days after notice of award and must remove the equipment within twenty calendar days after payment. The purchaser is responsible for all loading, transportation, title-transfer, registration, taxes, and related costs.
The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, cancel this invitation, and accept the bid determined to be in the Town’s best interest. The sale is subject to final approval by the Town Council or its authorized representative.
