Snowflake won their final two regular season games last week with a 77-53 road win at Show Low on Tuesday, followed up by a 59-54 home court win over Winslow on Wednesday night.

The Lobos finished the east region standings with a 7-3 record tying them with Holbrook. Since the two teams split their two meetings this year the tiebreaker belonged to Holbrook with a better conference record as well as a higher position in the final power ranking standings.

Snowflake will be in the 3A state championship bracket as the 12th seeded team in pool play. They will host No. 23 Tuba City at 7 p.m. on Friday night. With a win they would advance to face a team that lost in the opening round of the Copper tournament. That opponent is yet to be determined pending results of the Copper tournament.

The first round of the actual 3A State tournament will be played on Tuesday the 17th.

Snowflake enters the post season with an overall record of 14-11.
