Local blues legend Tommy Dukes has formed a band with old friends Jeff Porturica on the drums and Tony Armijo on the bass, under the name The Tommy Dukes Band. The group recently remastered a CD of Tommy’s best music and sent it to a few radio stations.

The Juke Joint Blues Show in Vermont will begin their next show on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 4 p.m. Arizona time with music from that remastered album. That show is streamed for anyone to listen online at WMRW.org.

The band has several gigs lined up and are wanting to get more, including an upcoming show March 16 at the Camp Verde Pecan and Wine Festival.
