In September 2024 the Snowflake FFA Alumni & Supporters started the third annual FFA Essay Contest for first year agriculture students enrolled at Snowflake High School. Snowflake FFA Alumni & Supporters have presented a blue corduroy FFA jacket to the winner of the annual contest. This year additional members of the community submitted donations to allow for more than one winner of the contest for a total of five FFA jackets available to deserving essay winners.
Five essays were submitted and reviewed by the members of the Snowflake FFA Alumni & Supporters. Each essay more than adequately met the requirements set forth. As such, each first-year agriculture essay contestant was awarded their own personalized FFA jacket. The winners include Edynn Booth, Elijah Coletti, Mairead Greenwood, Evelyn Hargett and Emma McGee.
The presentation was held during the November meeting of the Snowflake FFA Alumni & Supporters.
