The Lady Lobos volleyball team played just one regular season match last week, picking up a straight-sets win over visiting Tuba City on Tuesday night. That 3-0 victory offset their opening season loss to Gilbert Christian and evens their record at 1-1 as they head into their next regular season action, which will be on Sept. 17, when they host Blue Ridge. They follow that up with a short trip to Winslow two days later.
The team did compete in the Tournament of Champions hosted by Westwood over the weekend. Snowflake was one of 36 teams competing in the large school event. Results were not available at press time.
Snowflake will host the “Be Like Nat” Volleyball Invitational on Sept. 20 and 21.
