Holbrook resident and Holbrook High School graduate Annie Lynn Black, born March 6, is 66 years old today on Route 66! When she was 18 months old, spinal meningitis created life-long disabilities for her. Annie loves doing puzzles and those who know her address her as The Puzzle Queen, with 1,000-piece puzzles being her favorite, with puzzle boxes filling her room. She’s able to complete one in just a day or two and has a true gift for picking up a puzzle piece and placing it right where it belongs.
Annie’s friend Twyla Taylor calls her an Earthly Angel, “She loves everyone she meets, and she wants to meet everyone,” stated Taylor. Taylor has asked everyone who sees her wish her a happy birthday and let her know they saw her photo in the newspaper.
