The most wonderful time of the year is almost here and Winslow is gearing up for a festive celebration like no other. The Winslow Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the annual Festival of Trees, which will take place from Nov. 28 to Dec. 3. This cherished community event promises to bring holiday cheer to everyone who attends.
What makes the Festival of Trees so special? It’s a heartwarming tradition where local businesses, clubs, organizations, and individuals come together to decorate and donate beautifully adorned Christmas trees, wreaths, and other festive decorations. These dazzling creations are then put on display for all to enjoy, creating a winter wonderland that captivates the entire community.
But this event isn’t just about spreading holiday joy; it’s also about giving back to the community. The proceeds from the Festival of Trees will go toward supporting various community events and other Chamber-sponsored initiatives.
If you’re interested in being a part of this heartwarming event, whether on behalf of your business, club, organization, or yourself, now is the time to act! The Chamber of Commerce is actively seeking donations of trees, wreaths, or any Christmas decoration you’d like to contribute. Donations will not only bring smiles to the faces of festival-goers but also contribute to the community of Winslow.
For those eager to get involved, please reach out to the Winslow Chamber of Commerce at (928) 289- 2434 as soon as possible to get all the details you need. The set-up date for your donated decorations is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Nov. 27, so mark your calendars and get ready to spread some holiday magic.
