On Wednesday, June 29, Snowflake Taylor Police Department responded to a residence in Taylor regarding a possible child abuse call. During the investigation it was discovered that the occupant, Renee Thomas, 29, was operating a child care facility without a license. The officer also discovered that Toby Thomas, 26, was staying at the home in violation of court ordered sex offender stipulations. Toby was arrested and booked into the Navajo County Jail. Renee was summoned to appear in Snowflake Justice Court for operating a child care facility without a license.
