The Navajo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity in Area 3 during the period of March 13-26. Area 3 includes Heber, Overgaard, Aripine, Chevelon Retreat, Chevelon Acres, Antelope Valley, Clay Springs and Pinedale. Persons who were cited, charged or arrested by deputies are accused of committing criminal activity, but such accusations should raise no inference of guilt. On Monday, March 14, Nathaniel Portee, 19, of Snowflake was cited and released for assault after deputies responded to the 2800 block of Rainbow Trail in Overgaard for a report of assault. On Wednesday, March 16, Rachelle Arthur, 30, of Heber was arrested for possession of a prescription-only drug and a warrant. Arthur was booked into the Navajo County Jail. On Monday, March 21, Norma Jo Goodman, 41, of Payson, was arrested for aggravated DUI following a traffic stop on the 1800 block of State Route 260.
