Bonnie Smith Bonnie Smith, age 85, of Snowflake passed away at her home on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20, at Owens Livingston Mortuary Heritage Chapel, located at 84 E. 19th S. in Snowflake. Bonnie was born on Aug. 31, 1936, in Bernards Township, N.J., the youngest of five daughters born to Daniel Isador and Helen Gertrude (Warren) Kubernek. Bonnie loved the Lord, bears, dogs, cooking, working in her yard and especially gardening. In her younger years she loved to dance. When she was able, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidering and sewing. She also enjoyed taking day trips, going to shows, watching skating on TV at home, entertaining and feeding her friends, swimming, and decorating her home. Bonnie was happiest when she was giving to others. Bonnie is survived by her son, Scott; two grandchildren; and her dear friends and neighbors, Kathleen and David Coombs. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Snowflake handled the arrangements.
