By Linda Kor Familiar faces will likely be filling Snowflake Council seats that will be open in the coming year. The council will have four positions that are currently held by Kerry Ballard, Allison Perkins, Byron Lewis and Bob Flake, who was appointed to fill the remaining term of Hunter Lewis. Ballard, Flake and Byron Lewis have each filed to retain their seats for another four years and no other candidates have been reported. An effort to determine if those candidates will be appointed or if the Aug. 4 election will go on as planned was not responded to by press time. The Snowflake Primary Election is scheduled to be held on Aug. 4 with the first day to request an early voting ballot beginning on May 3, going through July 6. The General Election will be held on Nov. 3.
