By China Cassidy With the school year ending so abruptly and bringing all athletic, music and end-of-the-year activities to a halt, the teachers and other staff at Holbrook Unified School District wanted to wish the students well and let them know they are missed and came together to create the Roadrunner Ride Around Town Parade on March 31. The staff met up at the high school at 12 p.m. on Tuesday and were escorted by officers of the Holbrook Police Department from Eighth Avenue, up north to Spurlock Avenue and through various neighborhoods around Holbrook honking horns, waving at residents in their homes and saying hello to their students from their vehicles while still practicing social distancing.
