At 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, the Snowflake-Taylor Chamber of Commerce will host the Snowflake Town Lighting with the lighting of the town Christmas tree at the John A. Freeman Home, located at 102 First N. St.
Prior to the lighting Santa will come down the street and distribute Santa bags full of goodies. There will be cookies and hot cocoa at several booths, free to the public. There will also be entertainment.
Those wishing to help fill Santa bags can join the Taylor-Snowflake Fire Department at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 25, at 325 W. 4th St. in Snowflake. Candy donations to the Santa bags can be dropped off at the chamber office, located at 113 Main St. in Snowflake.
