HOLBROOK — A community potluck to show support for local furloughed federal employees will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, at the Machusak Recreational Building, located across from the Holbrook City Offices at 465 First Ave.

Those attending are being asked to bring a ready-to-eat dessert or appetizer. Come out and show support for friends and neighbors who are currently out of work due to the federal government shutdown. All furloughed employees are invited and do not need to bring food. This is a non-political event.
