Auditions have been announced for the first tri-community theatrical production in more than a decade. This production will be directed by Joseph City High School performing arts teacher Andy Foree, who is hoping to make this a yearly tradition. “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” is a family-friendly production based on the biblical story of Joseph and his 11 brothers. The production will have it all: flashing lights, awesome costumes and beautiful set design. All they need now is friends to audition. Auditions will be held at 4 p.m. beginning Tuesday through Thursday, Aug. 7-9, at the BG Bennett Auditorium in Joseph City. There is no sign-up necessary. Performances will be Sept. 22, 27 and 29. Who can audition? Anyone who has always wanted to be in a show! People of all ages from throughout the area including Winslow, Holbrook and Joseph City are encouraged to audition. There is a large children’s chorus, so they are also looking for K-6 children to participate. For more information email Andy Foree at andrewf@jcusd.org.
